Going Domestic
This excellent editorial from OpinionJournal points out the striking differences between President Bush and Senator Kerry on the domestic issues of health care, Social Security, and taxes. Basically, President Bush wants to reform the health care system and Social Security before they become complete disasters and lay waste* to the economy. Additionally, President Bush wants to keep everyone's taxes low. Conversely, Senator Kerry will ignore the impending collapse of government funding for both until it is upon us. At that point, huge tax increases will be necessary in order to salvage them both.
