That Would Be Nice

Ed Morrissey:
We would have no problem with tough questioning to hold Republican candidates accountable if the media would perform the same task with Democrats. Yet no major media outlet has reported on Barack Obama’s long association with and defense of William Ayers, an unrepentant domestic terrorist, nor have they pressed him on his lack of executive experience or the absence of any significant political accomplishments except his own elections. We await that interview with great anticipation and no hope whatsoever of it ever occurring.

Judgment

John Hinderaker:
There are few places where bad judgment is so routinely tolerated as Washington. There is perhaps nowhere in the world where there is so little accountability, where bad judgment goes so routinely unpunished, as the U.S. Senate. This is why Joe Biden can be wrong about every major foreign policy issue for decades, and still be regarded as an "expert" in the field.

Nice Summary

From Jim Geraghty:
In 72 hours, the media has subjected Bristol Palin to more scrutiny than they've given to Barack Obama in two years.

Perhaps if Governor Palin and her family would associate with terrorists, racists, and slumlords, the mainstream media would lose interest.
