The Russian Connection
The Washington Times is reporting that Russian special forces transported weapons out of Iraq prior to the Coalition invasion in March 2003. Possible destinations for the weapons include Syria, Lebanon, and Iran. The weapons believed to have been moved by the Russians include the 380 tons of missing high explosives. The investigation is ongoing according to a U.S. official.
This is the price we pay for trying to pass the "global test." Perhaps Senator Kerry will now attack President Bush for not rushing to war soon enough.
