Into the Southwest
I recently stayed in Arizona for about a week in order to carry out some of my graduate research. As Abigail mentioned, I had a few encounters with spiders during my visit. Actually, I felt like Bilbo in Mirkwood. Sadly, instead of Sting, I had Newspaper with which to fight off the little beasts. I greatly admire the people of southern Arizona. They constantly live under the arachnid threat, and do so with courage.
