Giant Toddler
Piker, who fancies himself a revolutionary communist with an iron will and the blood of a tiger ready to take on the entire capitalist establishment, has taken to whining about the criticism all day, every day. Or at least it sure seems that way. A guy who screams about the need for capitalist blood in the streets has become a whiner who complains about not being liked and advertisers being nervous about associating with him.Many of the communists are hyperfragile.
Globalize the Reconquista!
Good for the people of Ceuta. Europe is for Europeans, Spain is for Spaniards. We have seen this movie before: Muslims invaded Spain in 711 and it took until 1492 for Spaniards to drive the last of them out. Now Muslims are invading again, not just in Spain but in England, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, and other Western countries.
Muslims generally think they are winning the current conflict, as they certainly are in England, France, Germany, and some other European countries, and to a lesser extent—so far—in the U.S. and Canada. Why many Western authorities are unwilling to resist the current invasion—unlike, for example, Charles Martel and King John Sobieski—is a question to which I have no answer. For now, let’s applaud the people of Ceuta for standing in the gap.
Get Back to Me When the Muslims Pay Up
Which brings up the question: if reparations are the proper response to historical injustice, what other injustices and by whom, should reparations be paid?
Let's do a thought experiment: if white Americans should pay reparations for the European slave trade, then should Muslims pay reparations for their own participation in the African slave trade? After all, Muslims created the African slave trade, having invented it 700 years before white Europeans ever took advantage of the already-existing trade that was created by Muslims in the 7th century.
Muslims enslaved far more Africans than Europeans ever did, and Europeans almost never captured African slaves, but were sold those slaves by African rulers who raided other tribes. Venturing into Africa to capture slaves was far too dangerous for Europeans, who died from violence or disease, and many never even left the boat.
Muslims often participated directly in the capturing of slaves, including Europeans. The United States Marine Corps was stood up to fight Muslim slave traders.

Should the Nordics pay reparations for the depredations of the Vikings, who rampaged throughout Europe and the Mediterranean for centuries? Should the Mongolians work to repay the descendants of Genghis Khan's victims? Should the Turks repay the Greeks for kicking them out of Anatolia? What about the Armenians, whose great-great-grandparents suffered through an actual genocide?
Who is doing the accounting for all this? Whose suffering counts, especially when nobody alive today experienced the actual suffering? Do 70 years of Affirmative Action count toward the reparations?
Clown League
Yep. That's it. It's literally the dictionary entry for the word, and the biological definition of "woman." That is what triggered an obscenity-filled public meltdown by a "professional" athlete in the middle of a game. It's what nearly emptied the Sky bench and derailed a game for which thousands of fans paid to see. It's not much of a wonder that Clark and her teammates trounced the Sky last night, 113-90, even with Aliyah Boston on the bench with an injury. The loss eliminated the Sky from the playoffs, in fact.
The absurdity of this meltdown belies the idea that the WNBA operates as a professional sports league. When was the last time anyone saw a player in the NBA, NFL, MLB, NHL, or even the minor leagues of these sports lose their minds and their focus over a T-shirt in the stands? When was the last time a fan got tossed for wearing a non-obscene T-shirt in any of these leagues? This is the second time in a week for the WNBA in which a team either threatened to expel or outright expelled fans for wearing T-shirts that only expressed support for biology as the definition of "women."
This isn't a sports league. It's a struggle session with cardio. It's a woke drum circle, and the only players who understand professionalism and mental discipline are those targeted by the struggle-session clique. Clark was smirking because she understands the necessity of mental discipline — and she sank eight three-pointers during this game to demonstrate it. Everyone else on the court, the sidelines, and in the offices doesn't have a clue what professionalism means. It's a clown show, run by clowns that indulge clowns, and all of the clowns punish those who refuse to don nose bulbs and size 40 Nikes.
Furthest Thing From the Working Class
Things have gotten so bad that the New York Times has noticed. The subject of the Times story is Gustavo Gordillo, co-chairman of the New York chapter of the DSA. Gordillo has stopped talking to the press after a reporter asked him where he lives. Gordillo claims to reside in an apartment in Crown Heights, but it turns out that he really lives in a $1.5 million row house in Bedford-Stuyvesant.
The house was paid for by his father, also named Gustavo Gordillo. The elder Gordilla is the founder and CEO of Draft Pros, a telecommunications infrastructure design and construction company with eight national and international offices.
Gordillo Jr., the socialist, went to Yale and studied sculpture. He now claims to be a union electrician, but the union says his “enrollment in an apprenticeship program was terminated in March of this year after he failed to complete the required work.” So in other words, he is a complete fraud.
Like the rest of the organization that he leads. A friend comments, “Now do Mamdani.”

If you look at the leaders of the DSA, it's hard to find anybody who has worked a day in their lives at anything that could be called a "job." You could slap the term "heir" or "heiress" to their bios, and few people would bat an eye. They are Marxists in more ways than one: their daily bread is handed to them by over-indulgent people around them, who egg them on as they pursue "social justice."
The DSA co-chair in New York City, who helps run the organization that Mamdani, AOC, and all the red-diaper babies get endorsed by, lives in a cozy $1.5 million duplex-turned single-family luxury home bought and renovated by his wealthy father. While it was being renovated, he rented a place, but stiffed the landlord on the rent. He pretended to be a union electrician, but like so many socialists, he failed to put in a day's work and was let go.
Defenders of the West
As the election of Trump has shown, the one place where there is a modest amount of hope that Western culture can be saved is here in the United States, and given our close ties and interdependence with Europe, it's important that we fight back at every opportunity.
I don't know anything about Nathan Cofnas aside from the most basic facts, but what is clear is that he is being punished for exposing Jason Arday, and not for any supposed unacceptable views on race. He was hired after making them clear, and the research he based them on was apparently of sufficient quality that the university gave him a position many academics would die for. So spare me the character assassination, because it is irrelevant. I know this because the university implicitly endorsed him when it hired him.
This is about whether speaking truths that the cultural and academic elite refuse to hear will get you punished, and the answer to that is obvious. The people who have perpetrated a fraud upon the world are either being lionized or excused without comment, while the people who exposed the fraud are being hounded, punished, and subject to enormous harassment.
The choice we face is about whether we, to the extent we can object, take that opportunity and do so in the strongest terms we can, and Rubio's State Department is doing so. It is about free speech, obviously, but also about much more: will we let the people and institutions that shape our society and help develop the policies that run our lives be a bunch of frauds with arbitrary power over us all?
It's not a small thing. Not only are academic institutions extremely powerful and influential, but the people with the power are talking about passing a law to shut everybody up when they get exposed.
Of course, the State Department should come down like a ton of bricks on these guys and use whatever power we have to push back. They need us more than we need them, and it most certainly IS our business. When academics come to us for money, they spin yarns about how vital to society and the economy they are; when they get into trouble, they act as if we have no stake in whether they are run properly.

Wokeball News
Things went from bad to worse over the weekend, with a whole slew of WNBA-related news, all of which have to do with how Woke is destroying the reputation of the League.
The Atlanta Dream, for instance, refused to stand for the National Anthem at one game and subsequently refused to even walk onto the court until the Anthem had finished playing.
They did find time, though, to honor the President of Earth herself, Stacey Abrams, who, aside from her stint as a Star Trek near-goddess, is famous solely for losing two elections and spending years denying she did. She was an election denier when election denial was cool.
Oh, wait, I forgot: she should have been famous for being a fraudster, getting awarded $2 billion from the EPA for a bogus NGO she just invented out of thin air, but the media pretty much buried that.
Minds of Toddlers
She was speaking about Francesca Hong's stated positions as a sitting state legislator, over 30-years-old, and she held those positions until she started getting trashed for them in her current campaign for governor.
But really, she was just a kid and shouldn't be held responsible for anything she said outside the current context of her campaign.
We're not even talking, in most cases, about positions taken at the height of the George Floyd madness. Every DSA-supported candidate has held crazy views until they started running in their current campaigns; they are the very reasons why the DSA endorsed them, after all. It's just that they are so unpopular that they have started to temporize or disavow positions they have held throughout their adult lives.
As Organized Crime Democrats have freaked out, worried that these candidates who are adults with the minds of toddlers have captured the Democratic base and will destroy the Democrats' chances of picking up seats this year, a cadre of their supporters are trying to help out by downplaying the insanity.

This is an explanation? Who wants a person in a position of power who can become so emotionally unhinged that they adopt insane positions so casually and work mightily to destroy people who disagree with them?
Sure, I became a commie and tried to destroy Western Civilization, but that was sooooo 2021, you know.
Seriously, who would you rather have in power — somebody who kept their head under pressure, or somebody who blows with the winds with their peer group? The first is called an adult; the second is called a man- or woman-child.
Unearned Arrogance
But the DSA leadership is being tested already. As their candidates rise in prominence, DSA leaders are being put to the test by, of all people, the midwits in Pravda, and they are coming off looking quite stupid.
By that I don't mean that their ideas are stupid — nobody in Pravda cares much about that, unless it will harm the political prospects of the Democrat Party.
No, I mean the actual people who lead the Democratic Socialists of America. To say they have the political sophistication and depth of college sophomores at a third-rate college is being far too kind to them. These people are STUPID. Midwits have IQs around 115-120, which makes them above average in language fluidity. They are not so much stupid as sufferers of the Dunning-Kruger effect; they think they are smarter and wiser than they are, and will never be smart enough to realize they barely understand complicated topics.

When Your Worldview is Trash
What's beautiful about that video is how obviously fraudulent James and Cam are, and the absolute inability of the election officials to challenge their obvious attempt to commit voter fraud. You can see on the officials' faces that they KNOW they are being had, but they have to go along with the absurdity.
They are like the WNBA folks who know Enes Kantor Freedom isn't a woman but are incapable of calling it out using their own standards. The rules are the rules, you know, and in Rules for Radicals we are told to make your enemy live by his own rules.
How Does Anyone Defend This?
These Islamic immigrants have adopted from Western liberals the false idea that “hate speech” is somehow subject to punishment or prohibition. They also have absorbed the leftist idea that pretty much anyone is entitled to be supported by the state, as two-thirds of “refugees,” who are overwhelmingly from Islamic countries, are on welfare. Taking money from a Western government obviously doesn’t obligate them to adopt the culture of the Western country that they have invaded.
Tell me again, who thought this was a good idea? And when did the British people—or anyone, for that matter—vote for it?
Don't Let Them Laugh It Off
Here, AOC is asked about a candidate she has personally gotten to the finish line, largely because said candidate is as bats**t crazy as she is, and AOC's response is basically "we aren't responsible for our crazy ideas."
People are DEAD because of those ideas. Entire police forces were decimated and are still trying to recover. Cities like Seattle, Minneapolis, Portland, and Chicago still haven't recovered — their downtowns emptied out and have remained so six years later.

America's Favorite Critical Theory League
Can we all admit now that DEI and "social justice" are about nothing more than expressing hate and resentment? I guarantee you that every single one of these rather unpleasant mothers of puppies (there are words I am not supposed to use) believes that Caitlin Clark is admired and watched solely because of her skin color and sexual preference.
Their own obscurity has nothing to do with the fact that they are unpleasant, talentless hacks.
Social Justice Warriors are motivated by hate, and committing violence seems to be a necessary catharsis for the players, and watching it play out is psychologically important for their "fans." The fact that the WNBA didn't even qualify as an also-ran league until Caitlin Clark showed up is, for them, proof that the deck is stacked against them, instead of a demonstration that nobody wants to watch s***ty basketball.

Now some people are arguing that these former men are not REALLY transgender, but that argument doesn't fly. We don't get to tell people what gender they are; self-identifying is the only standard that we are allowed to use, right? How else are we supposed to know? Is there some third-party gender police out there? If you are not going by the definitions we all agreed on until five minutes ago, what other standards are there?

We Have to Show "Leadership" on Destroying Our Economy
Liberals are willing to sacrifice America’s economy, and turn world leadership over to the Communist Chinese, in order to reduce our emissions of carbon dioxide. Supposedly this is to save the world, but the reality is that our emissions are irrelevant.
Can We Try Not Electing Life Losers?
But AOC refuses to pay back her student loans, despite earning $173,000 a year as a member of Congress. That's a red flag that she's fiscally irresponsible and holds taxpayers in utter disdain.
Her supporters claim her college loans make her relatable. One fan posts on X, "I need a president that's still drowning in student loan debt with me." Democratic activist David Hogg posts, "this is what happens when we elect normal people to Congress who have student debt and don't engage in insider trading."
Sorry: relatable to the elite but not to everybody. Households in the top fifth for earnings are three times as likely to have college debt as households in the bottom fifth of the economy. That means when doctors, lawyers and members of Congress don't pay their college loans, working stiffs who never got to go to college -- bus drivers, waiters and sanitation workers -- end up paying. Totally unfair.
Voters could soon elect a freeloader in chief to the nation's highest office. If that happens, hold onto your wallet. And prepare for financial calamity.
Political analyst Doug Schoen warned that AOC "carries massive ideological baggage." Sorry, that dignifies what's between her ears. She's hardly a Marxist scholar.

Modernity Rocks
If you haven’t thought much about Vietnam since the Vietnam War (or being too young for those memories, perhaps have never thought much about Vietnam at all) you might not be aware that Vietnam has become an economic powerhouse. It has 100 million people—more than Germany, France or Great Britain—and a booming economy. In fact, Vietnam now enjoys a larger trade surplus with the United States than any other country.
What has powered this extraordinary economic renaissance? Coal. Vietnam burns immense quantities of coal. Worldwide, there is more coal being burned today than at any time in world history. Many Americans are proud of having improved the environment, or the climate, or something, by drastically cutting down on our own consumption of coal, but all we have really done is export coal burning to countries in Southeast Asia.
