The Conquest Model
For all the progress in improving life in Sweden and beginning the effort to right the cultural balance again, the progressives were able to marshal the forces they had imported over the years and get them to the ballot boxes. And it's not only that they vote for the Social Democrats. Remember, these are coalition governments, so any Green or Left Party votes automatically boost the Social Democrats' majority in the Riksdag, their parliament.
